Colorado Immigration Groups to Respond to Federal Reform Bill Introduction

Historic Opportunity to Create Roadmap to Citizenship for 11 million Aspiring Americans

 

 

DENVER– Coloradans for Citizenship Now will hold a press availability tomorrow on the new federal immigration reform bill from 12:30 to 2:30 pm at the Justice for All Center, 2525 W. Alameda Ave. in the Board Room on the second floor.  The group will provide background information on the bill, as well as make organizational spokespeople and affected individuals available for interviews.

WHO:             Spokespeople from Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition, Colorado Progressive Coalition, MiFamiliaVota Education Fund, SEIU Local 105, and Together Colorado

WHY: Provide background information and interviews on the new federal immigration bill

 

 

Coloradans for Citizenship Now is a coalition of 9 organizations including: Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition, Colorado Latino Forum, Colorado Progressive Coalition, MiFamiliaVota Education Fund, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Padres y JovenesUnidos, Rights for all People/Derechos Para Todos, Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 105 and Together Colorado.  CFCN advocates for comprehensive immigration reform with an earned and rapid path to citizenship that is not tied to border security for the 11 million aspiring citizens in the United States.
