Bennet earlier told The Denver Post that the summit was 'largely good' because there was a consensus that Washington policymakers should first focus on a deal to resolve DACA recipients, brought to the U.S. illegally as children by their parents.

Details of the compromise have yet to be released. Gardner said in a Twitter post that it 'reflects the discussion we had this week with' Trump."
