In May, Liliana attended an ICE check in with clergy and never came back out. Her children were waiting outside. DMV Congregation Network, along with allies, attempted to prevent Liliana’s deportation but she was eventually deported on June 14. Her deportation, her struggle to maintain the family and her children visiting El Salvador is featured in the Washington Post.
