MORE THAN FIFTY COLORADO CLERGY AND FAITH LEADERS WILL GATHER FOR PRAYER CIRCLE FOR COLORADO ASSET
Together Colorado leaders have been working for 10 years to pass the ASSET bill

What: More than 50 clergy and faith leaders from across the state will gather at the state capitol for a prayer circle. They will be praying for the education of all of our students, as state legislators consider the Colorado ASSET bill, SB 13-033, establishing in-state tuition for undocumented students. The bill is expected to pass in the Senate Monday morning and will be sent on to the House.

Why: The passage of ASSET has been a 13-year campaign and Colorado clergy and faith leaders want the legislation to pass this legislative session. It is good for the economy, it's good for our education system and it is fundamentally just, to offer hope for the thousands of young Colorado high school graduates who wish to go to college but cannot afford out of state tuition.

Where: Inside the Colorado State Capitol (rotunda area).

When: Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 from noon to 12:45 p.m.

Who: 50 Colorado clergy and faith leaders with Together Colorado joined by community leaders, our legislative sponsors and undocumented students who will benefit from passage of ASSET.
