Testing candidates' knowledge of Northeast schools and community needs

 

What:  On Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 6 - 7:30 p.m. at Cole Arts and Science Academy, there will be a public school board forum with Landri Taylor and Roger Kilgore, the two Northeast candidates, and Barbara O'Brien and Michael Kiley, the two at-large candidates. Together Colorado parent leaders are facilitating the forum and are anticipating more than 200 people from Northeast neighborhoods.

 

Why:  Together Colorado parent leaders are leading this DPS School Board public forum to inform other Northeast parents about the candidates' positions on the issues that impact their neighborhood schools. Additionally, parents are testing the candidates' knowledge of Northeast schools and community needs.

 

Where:  Cole Arts and Science Academy, 3240 Humboldt St, Denver, CO 80205 in the cafeteria on the third floor.

 

When:  Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 6 - 7:30 p.m.

 

Who:  Landri Taylor and Roger Kilgore, the two Northeast candidates, and Barbara O'Brien and Michael Kiley, the two at-large candidates; Northeast parents, Together Colorado leaders, northeast teachers and principals.
