TOGETHER COLORADO LEADERS ENDORSE COLORADO COMMITS TO KIDS AMMENDMENT 66

DENVER, CO (September 20, 2013) -- Leaders from Together Colorado, a nonpartisan, multifaith, and multiracial organization, have endorsed Amendment 66, Colorado Commits to Kids. Colorado schools have been underfunded far too long, and Amendment 66 will give districts the resources to support the achievement of all students.

"Amendment 66 offers the opportunity for all students, and especially English Language Learners like my kids, to succeed because it will provide adequate resources for our schools," said Ana Luisa Gallardo, TC leader and parent of children at CASA and DSST-Cole.

Together Colorado has been working on education issues for more than a decade. The organization promotes school reforms aimed at creating great schools for all students and eliminating the unacceptable achievement and dropout gap.
