Faith Voices: Is There a Multi-Faith Movement for Justice? – Rev. Dr. Anne Rice-Jones

“Now it springs forth. Do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. ” (Isaiah 43:19)

Adapted from a letter by Rev. Dr. Katherine Rhodes Henderson:

Is There a Multi-Faith Movement for Justice?

The answer is a resounding yes! People of all faiths and none have a role to play in building a world of equity, love and justice.

This movement entails grassroots to grasstops work to support leaders at all levels to meet the greatest challenges we face. Unfortunately, it’s a long haul to reach the place where all can thrive and all belong.

We can all benefit from a breath of fresh air, a breath of what might be. This movement seeks the powerful prophetic leadership that shows the best of what a multifaith, multiracial movement for justice has to offer.

We know that we need prophetic leadership’s twin power of pastoral care since there is so much healing, grieving, and rebuilding that is imperative for this journey.

We are awakened and have embraced this call for such a time as this. We stand strong, work constructively and join together to forge sustainable changes for justice.
