Our faith teaches us that we are called to be caretakers of Creation—to live in harmony with the Earth and protect the wellbeing of our neighbors near and far. This sacred connection between humanity and the planet grounds us in our shared responsibility to safeguard our common home.
But today, the communities least responsible for climate change are the ones suffering most from its impacts. Corporate polluters and fossil fuel interests continue to put profits over people, poisoning our air and water, destabilizing our climate, and wielding political influence to block the bold action we desperately need. The result is a mounting crisis that threatens our health, our homes, and our future.
We must come together to confront this crisis with moral clarity and collective power. Together Colorado leaders are organizing faith communities, voters, and allies to demand climate policies that protect frontline communities, transition us away from fossil fuels, and build a sustainable future rooted in justice. Through political action, voter engagement, community education, and public witness, we are empowering communities to stand in solidarity with those most impacted and to reshape our relationship with the Earth.
