In early 2023, Together Colorado leaders at Our Lady Mother of the Church in Commerce City were awarded decision-making influence over $100,000 of their school district’s budget, specifically to bring in new parent and community partnership programs of their choosing.
We the undersigned represent community members of the Adams 14 school district- families, students, teachers- and allies throughout the state. We write this letter to address the decisions that were made, and finalized, by the members of the Colorado State Board of Education in May 2022; to remove the accreditation of the Adams 14 school district and begin a reorganization process.
